Managing Child Accounts
Feature Purpose
If you are managing a team where every member will be running different campaigns, or you are an agency with multiple campaigns per brand, you may want to consider leveraging Child Accounts. As an account holder, you can set up Child Accounts which will provide your team or brands access to the platform, but they won’t be able to access any campaigns within your own account. On the contrary, you can login directly to Child Accounts, reset their passwords or delete the accounts altogether. Sounds interesting? Let’s dive in!
Step-by-Step Process
- After logging in, you will land on your campaign list page
- In the upper right corner, hover over your account icon and select Profile & Settings
- In the subnavigation menu on the right, select the Manage Child Accounts option
- This is where you can either view current, or add new child accounts
- Add a new child account by clicking the Add Child Account button on the bottom right. A popup will appear, requesting the child account’s email and to set a password.
- Once you have set up Child Accounts, they will appear in a list with three icons on the right of each account email. From left to right, the icons allow you to Edit, Delete or Login to the account.
- When you click the Login icon, you will also receive an alert to confirm logging into the child account.
- Upon confirming, you’ll be redirected to the child account’s Campaign List page.
- You can return to your account at any time by hovering over the account icon in the upper right corner and selecting Back to parent account
- When you click the Edit icon, you can change the Child Account’s password. Passwords need to be at least 8 characters in length, include at least 1 uppercase letter and 1 special character.
- When you click the Delete icon, you’ll receive an alert to confirm deleting the child account.
