Discovering Influencers from an Audience Segment

Feature Purpose

Each audience segment generated in Lickly will have a corresponding Influencer List that matches the attributes described in the audience segment with the influencer’s followers. The initial list that appears is meant to be filtered through by approving, recommending or rejecting influencers as needed. It is also possible to share the list externally to collaborate on filtering through the options. Depending on your audience results, you may see some of the same suggested influencers from two different segments. This is dependent on how broad or niche the audiences are, and if they share attributes or behaviours. First thing’s first, let’s explore how to view influencers from an audience segment.

Step-by-Step Process

  1. After logging in, you will land on your campaign list page
  2. Click on the campaign where you would like to view the suggested influencers
  3. Select Audiences from the campaign subnavigation
    • If you have not yet created audiences, you can follow the steps here and then continue on to Step 4.
  4. Click on the audience segment that you would like to view the influencers for
  5. In the upper right corner of the Audience Details page, click on Influencer List
  6. From here, you can sort the list by clicking on any of the column headers with the up and down arrows to toggle ascending and descending results.
  7. You can customize which columns appear by clicking the settings icon on the right side, next to the search field, by unchecking or checking off each category.
  8. Use the search button to search by name or handle, hashtags, mentions and platform. You can also filter the list based on the number of followers.
  9. On the far left side of each influencer, you can use the checkboxes to select influencers to add to a comparison chart. After you made your selection, click the Compare button above the Influencer List which will load a new page with a side by side column view.
  10. You can also use the checkboxes to Accept, Recommend or Reject Influencers to help you narrow down your list.
  11. Lastly, you can export your Influencer List to a CSV file, or share it externally by using the Magic Link button, which you can explore in more detail here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I manually add influencers to a list?

Yes, you can manually add influencers to any Influencer List, simply click the gear icon on the right side of the audience segment name, and you’ll have an option to add influencers by pasting in their social profile URLs. Once you add influencers manually, Lickly scores will begin to populate but can take up to an hour to appear within the list.

How can I learn more about each influencer?

If you want to dive deeper into each influencer’s metrics, growth and their audience simply click on the row they appear in to view their Influencer Details page. The Influencer Details page will not only display current details about each influencer, but also provide trends over time. You can also get a breakdown of their audience demographics including location, age ranges and languages.

Can I search for influencers and add them to existing lists?

Yes you can! If you want to search for influencers, without creating new audiences, you can use the Influencer Discovery panel that allows you to use attributes and filters to find influencers, and add them to existing campaigns.
